Temazo de Ministry esta semana, un coveer de bajo de Just One Fix, la primera canción que escuché de ellos y que me enganchó desde el primer instante. Aunque parece una linea muy sencilla he de decir que esta canción se me ha hecho MUY complicada de grabar. Primero porque la linea se repite sin parar una y otra vez y al final es fácil perder el sentido de lo que tocas. Segundo porque hay momentos en que la linea no se oye bien y, si, me he perdido. Tercero porque al haber taaaantas repeticiones y ser tan larga, cuando hay un cambio si no estás muy atento puedes perderte, cosa que me ha pasado. Y por último... estaba asfixiado de calor. Total, que al final intenté grabarla unas 10 veces y solo quedó "bien" la primera, así que estoy usando la primera toma... y eso que esta tiene fallos, imaginad las demás tomas...además, que como digo siempre, no soy muy buen bajista, soy totalmente amateur y no hago esto mas que por el afán de entretenerme, divertirme y grabar las canciones que me gustan esperando aprender algo cada vez. Although it seems like a very simple line, I have to say that this song has been VERY complicated for me to record. First because the line is repeated non-stop over and over again and in the end it is easy to lose the meaning of what you are playing. Second, because there are times when the line cannot be heard well and, yes, I have gotten lost. Third, because there are so many repetitions and it is so long, when there is a change if you are not very attentive you can get lost, which has happened to me. And lastly... I was suffocating from the heat. So in the end I tried to record it about 10 times and only the first one turned out "good", so I'm using the first take... and this one has flaws, imagine the other takes... also, as I always say, I'm not a very good bassist, I'm totally amateur and I don't do this except for the desire to entertain myself, have fun and record the songs I like hoping to learn something every time.
