Mitsubishi GDI engines are rather sensitive when it comes to fuel system issues.The P0190 error code can be misleading at first sight, therefore it is important to go through the whole fuel system and make sure everything is in order. Changing random components is certainly not the right way to get to the bottom, especially if it is a sporadic fault. The official description for this fault code is "Fuel pressure sensor circuit malfunction" but does not necessarily mean the sensor is faulty, a clogged filter can cause the same code, because the fault condition is a rather simple range check.
