Sound Design Series- 2) FM Punchy Bass in Ableton Live 11

The Series continues....!! We're staying in Operator and we're learning about FM (Frequency Modulation) Synthesis! We will go over some theory and then make a punchy bass sound as we did in the last tutorial when we covered Subtractive Synthesis in Operator. As we can see, Operator is a very powerful Ableton-native Instrument. We can utilize it to make subtractive synthesis sounds, and as we will see in this video, we can use it to make FM sounds as well. FM is really Operator's main specialty, however, we can utilize the filter to give even more expression and dynamicism to our sound.
