OK, so Volvo isn't actually calling this refresh a 2022.5 model year, but since that's confusing and crazy *I* am calling it that to clarify that this one has more power and more range than the other 2022 XC90... Anyway, if you're looking for a luxury 3-row transport, and you're not ready to go full EV (or you just don't want to spend over $100,000), the XC90 is the plug in hybrid for you. It's fast, luxurious, good looking, has a small but usable 3rd row and thanks to new motors it'll stay in EV mode longer than before. For the non-luxury shopper there are a few other options, but for those looking for a snazzier 3-row experience the Volvo stands alone. For now...
