How to make coffee from Sticky Weed seeds!

My mind was blown when I first found out you could make a respectable and caffeinated coffee from the seeds of Sticky Weed aka Goosegrass/Cleavers (and many other names!). It’s a plant many of you I’m sure threw at each other at school! Since then I’ve been making the “Cleavers Coffee” every year and always look forward to late Summer and Autumn when the seeds are brown and “ready”. In this video I concisely cover how to make a cup of coffee from the seeds of this well-known plant, a plant that’s in the same family as the plants we get our real coffee from! Hence the seeds and resulting coffee even contain some caffeine, albeit less than “real” coffee. It takes a bit of work to collect the seeds, but you end up with a caffeinated, coffee-like drink from the wild, and know it was all worth it. It’s remarkably similar flavour-wise to normal coffee, albeit milder.
