Tube/Valve Distortion Pedal Build (Part 1)
This video is part 1 of Tube Distortion Pedal build. It outlines my intentions and the circuit the tube distortion pedal will be based on. It will be based on a tube distortion preamp that I built some time ago but will have the advantage of having foot switches and being more robust than the preamp. The tube guitar preamp is featured in another video on my channel but I have since changed the circuit as an improvement. It originally started as a test circuit before being made into the tube preamp. The circuit has been road tested over the last two years as part of my guitar rig during gigs and has stood up extremely well. So now is the time for it it morph again into a fully functioning tube distortion pedal with point to point wiring, two 12ax7 tubes and some real boutique vibe. Hope you enjoy the video.
