Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North Amerca at 282 feet below sea level. It is also touted as the hottest and driest. Not so much for me! :) I had the pleasure of visiting during a passing fall storm, which actually dropped significant rainfall onto the valley floor. So the first time we see the typically sunny, warm salt flats but on the second visit, it's cloudy, foggy and raining!
