However, I believe mental bondage is a worse fate because mental bondage is the enslavement of the mind. Mental bondage is when a person has limiting beliefs around reaching their desires or achieving their goals. It is literally a block in your mind that is telling you that you “can’t” be free to move forward and create a life that you love. Mental bondage is what can hold you back from even allowing yourself to dream BIG. For so many women that I work with, mental bondage stems from childhood experiences in which they were told what they “could not do” or “could not be” or “could not have”. As they develop into adults those seeds that were planted grow and truly take over their minds. 3 tips to get past mental bondage: Don’t second guess yourself; Create daily mantras; Challenge yourself to try something new that you have never done before.
