I will show you some of the techniques I use to create an airbrush stencil out of paper. How to make color tones from mixing white basecoat with a little bit of candy toner paint. You will see the process on how I layer my paint starting with the lightest color shade to the darkest. Using a fiberglass pen tool I pull the lighter colors below back by lightly scratching off the paint. This prevents blue shifting which is caused by spraying a lighter color over a darker tone. Understand there is allot of different ways to airbrush and I don't always use these same techniques. Each job presents its own set of challenges.
