Thank you! 👍🤝 A short film shot in 4.4K 14-bit RAW using Magic Lantern’s Crop Mood preset and a vintage 25mm C-mount lens. The Box is not just a technical experiment. It’s a visual exploration of isolation, sound, and the curiosity that leads to unexpected consequences. This short was entirely shot on the Canon EOS M using Bilal’s Magic Lantern Crop Mood build, specifically the 1x3 4.4K 14-bit RAW preset, paired with a no-name 25mm C-mount lens. The soft vintage rendering of the lens, mixed with the ultra-cinematic resolution and rich dynamic range of 14-bit RAW, gave this film its haunting and surreal texture. Composition & Framing Exercise This was as much a test of technical capabilities as it was a deliberate exercise in composition and visual storytelling. With a minimal setup and natural lighting, I focused on framing, spatial movement, and atmospheric buildup. The dried, sandy riverbed became a natural stage — open, exposed, and mysterious.
