Speedrun of Sonic Advance as Knuckles in 14:53 real-time minus time bonus (taking real-time and subtracting one frame per 100 points in time bonus) - timing starts upon selecting the first character off of a completely fresh file, and ends upon the in-game timer freezing upon defeating X Zone. This speedrun was ran on a gamecube with a GBA Player, using the Gameboy Interface software (You can see my input display at the top!). Ran on easy difficulty because it saves time on bosses. The total time bonus (excluding X Zone's, since the run has ended by then) adds up to 400000. Real Time is 16:00.6 This is honestly just a placeholder run that I got out of some offline practice runs, to have something more up to date to submit for SGDQ2022. This run was surprisingly decent by those standards - though it's very improvable for sure. But for now, not bad - main improvement point was endgame. The highlight of the run is obviously Egg Rocket, which I nailed first try.
