Free download / Bandcamp codes on the page: https://owlripperrecordings.bandcamp.... and you can support Nastika band here: https://nastika.bandcamp.com Despite Nastika having demos and EPs dating back as far as 2005, I only discovered Nastika a few months ago via Instagram and really enjoyed their tracks on Bandcamp, which brought to mind a lot of the classic 90s Belgian metallic hardcore bands (Liar, Congress, Clouded, Spineless, Facedown, Firestone) plus hints during its course of the US influence of Torn Apart, Morning Again, Unbroken, Indecision, Shadows Fall. Nastika bring their own infectious and energetic flavour to the table, as they have a wide range of stylistic influences, and I wanted to try and push their sounds out a little further for them. A little more of an introduction from the the band: "Nastika is an Antwerp City based Hardcore band. 2 founding members started in high school with their band; the other 2 members played in another band together from the mid 90s on, so it is actually a continuation of a high school band of friends that still stick together. Nastika (नास्तिक), Sanskrit for 'atheist', as in: one who denies the existence of Gods. Rejecting the concept of a deity has always been an important part of what Nastika are about, both as a band as in life. Other themes which find their way into their music: nihilism, taking a stance against authority for the sake of authority, and corrupt right wing politics."
