I don't know exactly how or why but one part of my hair COMPLETELY broke off after a combination of color, heat, more heat, and a new styling tool. My biggest guess is that the colored portion was weak, further compromised by an inadequate heat protectant, and maybe the brush did the last duty and ripped my hair out. I'm going to go on an aggressive castor oil treatment regimen to regrow the front of my hair.
