In its 150th year, the Winter Carnival in Steamboat Springs, CO, is a celebration of all things Colorado. Cowpokes, skiing, and community are all on display in tandem, creating a unique cinematography opportunity! Thank you to the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club for granting me a credential to film and share it with the world. Shot on Sony FX6, 4K Full-Frame Sensor, Tamron 35-150mm f2/2.8 lens, and a Tiffen 1/4 Black Satin filter attached. Used a CineSakk Camera Saddle for stability and static shots. Graded using Conteur Films, LLC PowerGrades on DaVinci Resolve Studio. Went for another Kodak look. This time, I pulled back the film grain and halation, substituting with a subtle vignette to give it a more folk-like feel.
