After the events of Sonic 4 Episode I, Sonic reunites with his buddy Tails. They both take flight in the Tornado to an uncharted part of Mirage Island, landing in the ruins of Sylvania Castle Zone. This is a remix I've had done for a little while, but I hadn't gotten the chance to upload it until now, taking a lot of inspiration from Jun Senoue's "Green Grove Zone Act 1" in Sonic 3D Blast. It even including the short intro from there, an idea taken from ‪@JXChip‬'s remix of this theme. The cutscene theme was the first part I completed, taking the original melody and simply transferring it over to the tracker that I use, Furnace. I have to thank ‪@NUKELEDGE‬ for their Sonic 4 deconstruction videos, for without them, I likely wouldn't have been able to make this as accurate to the final game as it is. After transcribing the track, I then went and added some new sections and melodies, such as the brass in FM 4&5 and the PSG arpeggios and counter melodies. The same went for the actual zone theme itself, with everything occuring in the PSG Channels being added by me. My personal favorite addition I made to this track has to be the tertiary counter melody occuring in PSG 2 towards the end of the loop.
