On 23rd January 2026, our Manali trip took an unexpected turn. Due to heavy Republic Day traffic, the police stopped us at Patlikuhl, and we were not allowed to go ahead towards Manali. So instead of fighting traffic, we changed plans and drove towards a peaceful hidden gem — Fojal Valley, located just 25 km from Manali. What started as a roadblock turned into one of the calmest and most surreal days of our trip. Snowy mountains, quiet roads, apple orchards and a break from the chaos of tourist crowds made Fojal Valley feel like a secret escape in Himachal Pradesh. One of the most special moments in this vlog is our visit to a 70-year-old traditional Himachali house, owned by our friend’s relative. The old wooden structure and mountain lifestyle gave us a beautiful glimpse into local culture and history.
