Chinese mini lathe review part 3(of 6) More quality control issues & a strip down of the cross slide

In part 3 of my Chinese mini lathe review, I identify 3 main quality control issues affecting the accuracy of the cross slide gibs & a casting defect. I ended up having to strip down the whole cross slide unit & work on it to get the lathe functioning like it should have done out of the factory. I also test the accuracy of the cross slide on the lathe bed to give me an initial datum point for some later testing I will do. I also check the chuck jaws for accuracy as well.
