Abandoned Luxury Holiday Resort - The K Club Barbuda - Urban Exploration

We visited Barbuda in February 2014 during a sailing trip. The K Club used to be a multimillion luxury holiday resort for the chosen ones. Lady Diana with both princes used to come here for holiday. Most of the Club is still intact, no signs of vanadlism visible. This is probably due to the fact that Barbuda is only visited by sailors and that not by many as the Island lies pretty off track the usual sailing routes in the Carribean. The resort is easily accessible from the beautiful Lady Diana Beach - there is no security patrolling. In more than 48 hours we spent in Barbuda we have only seen 4-5 sailing boats visiting the island ( at least where we anchored ) The resort is abandoned for 11 years but the website is still in use: http://www.kclubbarbuda.com UPDATE 2015 - seems like Robert de Niro himself bought the property in order to reopen th eclub in the future!
