The ProLiteracy National Book Fund makes grants for educational materials to adult literacy and adult basic education programs to help adults gain basic literacy skills and live quality lives. Not all literacy programs can afford to buy books for students and instructors and rely on a shortage of outdated materials. To date, we have raised over $555,000 and have provided materials to over 360,000 adults, youth, and children.
