I probably shouldn't be sharing my finances on social media, but here goes. 🤷‍♀️ Home renovation can be really expensive, so I think it's important to share the realities. Everyone told me that I'd probably go over budget, but I just didn't believe them. Turns out, they were right. Thankfully, I was able to turn to my mum for some help and get a bank loan to cover the rest. I'll pay both off over the next couple of years. If you want a really nice house but you don't have the budget, look for a house's POTENTIAL. Find a cheap doer-upper and think about how you could improve it.
