Exploring the Santo Domingo Metro Explorando el Metro de Santo Domingo

We are at Casandra Damirón Station on Line 1 of the Santo Domingo Metro, where we take a look at a couple of trains as they arrive at and depart from the station for their respective termini of Mamá Tingó and Centro de los Héroes. Eventually, we get on a train headed for Centro de los Héroes, and ride to the next stop, which is Joaquín Balaguer. Line 1 has 16 stations over a 9-mile span, and interchanges with Line 2 at Juan Pablo Duarte. Line 2 has 18 stations over a 10-mile span. Both lines utilize the Alstom Metropolis 9000 three-car trainset. Enjoy the view of the trains arriving at and departing from the station, as well as the view onboard. Estamos en la estación Casandra Damirón de la Línea 1 del Metro de Santo Domingo, donde observamos un par de trenes que llegan y salen de la estación hacia sus respectivas terminales de Mamá Tingó y Centro de los Héroes. Finalmente, nos subimos a un tren que se dirige al Centro de los Héroes y viajamos hasta la siguiente parada, que es Joaquín Balaguer.
