On October 6, the Church celebrates Saint Bruno (1030–1101), a wise priest and teacher who left behind fame and success to live a quiet life of prayer with God. 🙏✨ Bruno founded the Carthusian Order, a community of monks who live in silence, prayer, and work — far from the noise of the world. Even though they speak very little, their hearts are always talking to God. In this episode of Catechism for Kids, children will learn: ✅ Who Saint Bruno was ✅ What the Carthusian monks do ✅ Why silence and prayer are powerful ways to grow closer to God ✅ How we can find peace by taking quiet moments with Jesus Saint Bruno reminds us that sometimes, the best way to hear God’s voice is to be still and listen. 🕊️ 📖 Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) Liturgical Color: ⚪ White (for confessors and founders) 🙏 Catechism for Kids helps children (and families!) grow in their Catholic faith with joyful, simple, and faith-filled lessons about saints, feast days, Scripture, and Church teaching.
