Oatmeal Tortilla/Chapatti_Two Ingredients| by Divine Veg And Vegan Benefits: Oats are fiber rich, lowers blood sugar levels, reduces high cholesterol keeping your heart healthy. Ingredients: Yield: 5 Tortillas 2 cups Oats 1 ¼ cup Boiling hot water Optional: Couple of drops of oil Optional: Salt to taste Optional: Butter Step 1: Flour Making If you have flour grinding Mill or coffee / spice grinder, then grind your oats to fine/coarse flour consistency. I used juicer / blender. Made coarse/rough texture. Step 2: Dough Making First keep aside 3-4 tbsp dry oat flour for dusting while rolling the dough. With the rest make dough. Add boiling hot water to oat flour. DO NOT USE HANDS, USE SPOON to mix flour and water. When both are combined, let it rest to cool down. When dough is cool enough to handle with hands than punch and gather into a ball shape with hands. Rub couple of drops of oil if needed. Step 3: Cooking Chapatti / Tortillas Divide dough into five equal portions. Roll each portion into round ball shape. Dust some dry oat flour and roll out each tortilla/chapatti. Make sure skillet is very hot before tortilla/chapatti is placed on it for cooking. If you desire butter can be used to fry tortilla/chapatti, making paratha style. Refrigerated dough could be consumed for next two – three days. Oat Tortilla/chapatti turns outs to be very soft and healthy. Enjoy! Thank you for watching.
