Euderion Infinity "Sins of our Fathers" - A Star Trek Fanproduction. (For english subtitles please activate the YouTube subtitles (the little gear wheel)) Synopsis: The Planet Novaris III is facing climatic collapse after centuries of depletion have made it almost uninhabitable. The young pilot Savar, an eco-fighter flees from the planet to seek help from the Federation. Captain Delia takes the young man on board and tries to mediate between him and the government of his planet. But it turns out that despite the threat of total annihilation, they do not intend to change anything, it would eventually affect the profits of their companies ... After the rather easier and funnier episode "Sleepless in Space", this time we focus on the more serious, socially critical issues that make Star Trek so special. In keeping with the current topic of the climate crisis, we have tried to move this topic into the 24th century. "Euderion" is a small group of fanfilm enthusiasts who creates short films on a regular base. We are not professionals and mostly operate on a low- to no-budget level, where the focus is on having fun with the material. The story revolves around the Starfleet ship USS Euderion and her crew. In keeping with the basic idea of Star Trek, we try to reflect in our storylines the positive future that Gene Roddenberry once invented. Please notice, that this is a for-fun-project. We are no actors, no film students, nor professionals, just fans who wanted to play in our favorite SciFi-Universe. It was filmed 100 percent before Green Screen on three shooting days in an basement. The postprocessing took place in the following year via Adobe Premiere (cut), After Effects (Green Screen keying) and 3d Max (Spacescenes and 3d renders).
