Nach dem wir schon verspätet in Dalaman abgeflogen sind, dauerte der Flug nach Istanbul nicht wie auf dem Hinweg 55 Minuten, sondern 1 Stunde 15 Minuten. Wir sind dann zwar auf der Landebahn in der Nähe des Inlandsterminals geladet, jedoch hat das rollen lange gedauert und als wäre das nicht genug, sind wir dann am Internationalen Terminal angekommen, so dass wir mit dem Bus zum Inlands Terminal gefahren werden mussten. Dort gibt es dann nicht nur die obligatorische Passkontrolle, sondern man muss auch nochmal durch eine Handgepäckskontrolle. So etwas habe ich bis jetzt nirgendwo erlebt. Die Handgepäckskontrolle kenne ich sonst nur, wenn man in den Schengenraum einreist. Durch all diese Verzögerungen wurde dann die Zeit zum Umsteigen doch recht knapp. Von daher ist die Regel, kein Flug über Istanbul mit weniger als 2 Stunden Umsteigezeit immer zu beachten.
