The Brazilian Imbel FAL chambered in 7.62 NATO. The famous 'Right Arm of the Free World' - utilized by over 90 countries worldwide at one point in peacekeeping history. Our Imbel FN FAL (an acronym French for Fusil Automatique Léger, translated in English: Light Automatic Rifle) was built by Randy Kline of Superior Arms and Machine. Randy is well known among the FAL community by his Falfiles handle, Sledgehammer. This build features an Imbel gear logo, forged, receiver. The barrel is an original Imbel 21" bipod-cut barrel with a chrome-lined bore and chamber. The remaining parts are from an Imbel kit, and a matching bolt and carrier set. The walnut buttstock is a Type-C replica from Ironwood Designs. The rifle is spec'd for 7.62 NATO and eats a steady diet of surplus Malaysian L2A2, Austrian Hirtenberger, and new production 7.62. Magazines are your standard FAL 20-round steel surplus from Israel, Austria, and Belgium.
