That enables you to get a strong Bokeh effect as well as 'pile up' the background behind your subject. So in effect, the Canon 55-200mm lens gives a different look to your video. It can be used as the 55mm end for portraits and get in closer to wildlife at the longer end.In more 'normal' terms the 200mm lens is around 320mm on the Canon m50 and than can be further stretched, just by engaging digital stabilisation. It's a sharp looking lens. Not too big and not that heavy on the front of the camera. I would suggest using a tripod with it for video because holding it still can be a challenge, so in this video, everything is with it sat on a tripod so you don't get seasick!
