I went for a 3 day hike in Seiland, Norway in July. It's an amazing island, and it was the toughest hike I have done yet! I was absolutely exhausted, mostly because of the constant ascending and descending. I consider myself fairly fit as a hiker, but every single muscle in my body was aching, not to mention my feet, lol!😅It had been raining fairly much before I got to the island, so it was very wet, and the fog made it even worse. I managed to completely soak my shoes and socks, but luckily it cleared up the next day evening. There was I trail I was able to follow the first couple of kilometres, but after that it was only reindeer trails, which made it very slippery and difficult to hike. Unfortunately I had only reserved 3 days for this hike and the hike being more demanding than I had anticipated, I really had to rush back to the harbour to catch the boat. I would recommend to take at least 4 days, maybe even 5 days if you want to go up to the glacier. Unfortunately due to the rain earlier, the rivers were too rapid and deep to cross and I was not able to cross it to get to the glacier. Also, on the last day while flying my drone, I got an error message that the gimbal was stuck. This was very annoying as I was running out of juice and was not able to make another run, so, that's why the drone shots are a bit jittery. Tried to fix it post, but FCPX can just do so much. All in all, a wonderful experience! And that glacier keeps me wanting to come back someday...😎 Turn up the brightness, put on your headset and enjoy!
