I just can't sit here using Nova Launcher anymore. . .so I need your help looking for an alternative. ~~~~~ Hi! The community wasn't happy when the app had been acquired by Branch Analytics. And those feelings were cranked up to 11 when it was acquired again, in 2026, by Instabridge. So I'm finally done. But I've been through this before Toward the end of 2024, I went looking for an alternative. . .but couldn't find any launcher that was able to keep up. I don't even expect my next home screen to have as many features as Nova So I want to hear from you. What launcher are you using right now? What features do you like to see in a custom launcher for Android? Because I need to migrate away from Nova Launcher as quickly as possible. Features I Want Over the years I've become accustomed to certain feature in the Home Screen Beyond the basics that most people would expect to see. . .like folder support I also like the option of being able to swipe down and have that expand the Notification Panel. Support for icon packs is nice. . .and I really like the ability to manually edit the icon of an application. Which is also nice to do with app shortcuts as well So I can have all of the apps matching a similar style. Being able to swipe to the right and begin browsing the Google Discover page is something I enjoy as well. I'm probably forgetting to list a few important features. . .but I really don't need a launcher that can go toe to toe with nova when it comes to a feature list. and I would be happier if it was just optimized well with as few bugs as possible.
