Applications that use a fieldbus protocol with safety protocol may have motion axis that only require the functionality: Safe Torque OFF (STO), or Safe Stop 1 (SS1) / Category 1 Stop In this video we will demonstrate how to configure an IndraDrive with SafeMotion (SMO) connected via fieldbus with safety protocol but using only the Safe Torque Off (STO) with Safe Stop 1 (SS1) / Category 1 Stop and no other SafeMotion functions.
