I'm using a free pattern from Drops as a sample, Flamingo Parade Jacket that you can find on their website: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.ph... I'm using Drops Fine Merino, which is a DK, super wash wool. In this video I will show you how you can convert a pattern for a cardigan worked flat, so back and forward, knits and purls, to working it in the round. You will only work at the front of the fabric, only making knit stitches instead of knits and purls. If you work with colors, doing color work in the round is much easier for many people and the results are usually much better than you would get by knitting and purling while doing color work at the same time. This is a series of 3 videos: 1 - in this first one I will only show how to convert a pattern 2 - in a second video I will show you how to add the steek stitches to your work so that you can close it in the round and knit a bit of extra fabric, to be then cut at the end. 3 - In the last of the 3 videos, I will show how to reinforce the steek stitches before cutting, with a crochet hook and yarn and where and how to cut the steek.
