To treat conditions like trauma injuries, tumors, bowel obstruction, perforated ulcers, appendicitis, gynecological problems, etc. 🔹 Procedure: 1. Patient is given general anesthesia. 2. A long incision is made in the abdomen (commonly midline). 3. The surgeon examines the organs (stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, spleen, etc.). 4. Depending on the findings, treatment (removing tumor, repairing injury, draining pus, stopping bleeding, etc.) is done. 5.
