We’re Andy and Cari, a 50-something couple who swapped waiting for retirement for a narrowboat adventure. In spring 2024, with no experience, a love of DIY (even the hilariously wrong kind), and our dog Rufus, we dove into life afloat. Trading “Someday” for “Today” We dreamed of a slow-paced retirement on the water but started early. Buying The Massive was easy; learning locks, off-grid living, and surprises has been the adventure.
