TRAVEL DAY Corfu Vlog July 2024 Luton to Corfu With EasyJet - APH Car Park - Sandy Villas (Kairaba)

Is time for another amazing TRAVEL DAY. So come join us for another amazing travel day as we head off for our Honeymoon from London Luton Airport to Corfu, where we are staying for a week at the Sandy Villas Resort (Was recently known as Sandy Villas Kairaba) St George South (Agios - Georgios South). The resort recently had a change over due to some issues with its previous company, so you may have known it by its previous name, however, it was still business as usual. So if you are a follower of our channel, you will remember we recently got married on the beach in Zakynthos (if you are new to the channel you can go back and see the amazing week we recently vlogged and the wedding video also) and now this is our honeymoon. We set off from London Luton airport where we found a mixture of good and bad experiences, so for EasyJet flights, you can only check in literally on the THREE hour prior to flight time. The machines will not accept any check in prior to this (they will reject your checkin) we were told conflicting information by two members of staff, one telling us it was three hours before and another telling u it was not until two hours before (which would have meant we lost our airport lounge) so we went back round again in the queue and it was definitely three hours. So we finally got checked in and sorted. We used the APH Long stay car park at Slip End, and the bus transfer to the airport, we have put this in the video so hopefully you will find this useful if you are using them, we have to say, the whole experience with this car park was brilliant, easy and simple. We also used the Aspire Lounge (although for London Luton, this has now changed to My Lounge located in the main eating area after Duty Free) we have used My Lounge in Gatwick South before, which was really good, however, we didn't find the food at this one very good at all, but the crowds i the main terminal were very busy so we found the lounge much less stress and still an overall good experience. When we landed at Corfu airport we found this a very good experience, from wheels down to being outside waiting for our taxi, was only about 35 - 40 minutes. We booked the private transfer from the airport to the hotel through EasyJet, which was a Minibus all to ourselves and only took about 45 minutes, they were really good and very nice. SO the hotel, overall, very good, big room, beautiful swim up room, very spacious and very clean, however, the mini bar in the room was not what we were expecting, there was very little in it for both of us, and with a swim up room the idea was to have the stock in you room so you can relax in private there and not have to walk to the bar. Having said this, it was still a great place. You will be able to watch a full review of the resort hopefully soon when i edit and release this.
