Eger. Gyermekkori emlékeim első úticéljai között a hősök és papok városa. Miskolcról kalandos kanyargós utakon vezetett mindig apám. Megjegyezte, ha igazán meg akarok tanulni jól vezetni, azt itt kell kezdeni. Ha pedig jól olvasni- tettem hozzá- akkor Gárdonyi regényét olvasva. Eger tehát tanít. Magas fokon. A film alatti zene címe: Bloodline of Stars, utalva a "Csillagokra", akik nem feledték a hitet, és hősiességükkel megtorpantották az oszmán félholdat. Kis hazánkba látogatók a főváros után, a legkedvesebb vármegyeszékhelyük. Gazdag történelme, a keresztyén hit gazdag múltja és jelene, Eger hősei tettének alapja. Valamit újra megéltem a gyermekkori célokból, de most új magasságokban. Úgy látni a világot, ahogy más nem láthatja különlegessé tesz, és ha hagynám, hogy csak az enyém legyen, önzővé is. Az építészeti remekek mellett egy kicsiny templom érdekelt. A református templom, amelyet 1930-ban Ray Dezső budapesti építész tervezett. 23 méteres tornya eltörpül a 40 méter magas bazilika kupolája mellett. Mégis jelképekben gazdag, múltja pedig a bimbódzó reformációval egyidős. Még sosem jártam benne. Újdonság volt számomra. A homlokazaton relief található, amely szív-horgony-keresztet ábrázol, a régi egri egyház pecsétje nyomán. Egy élő, és tenni akaró közösség lelki otthona, amely várja az Istent kereső szíveket. Izgalmas, és örömteli volt más perspekítvából látni, a nagy egészhez képest, hol helyezkedik el a reformátusok temploma. It was exciting and joyful to see from a different perspective, compared to the big picture, where the Reformed Church is located.
