So I may be a few months late, but it was only shortly after these were withdrawn that I realised just how many compilations I needed to get through. In September 2023, three rather perculiar buses entered service with Metrobus. Specifically, these are the only Volvo B9TL ADL Enviro400s found in Britain that are south of Yorkshire. They were purchased from Go-Ahead London, where they carried these fleet numbers: VE1 - LX58 CWK (MB 6950, now B&H 221) VE2 - LX58 CWL (MB 6951, now B&H 222) VE3 - LX58 CWM (MB 6952, now B&H 223) The purpose of these buses was to cover for the refurbishment of ex-Southdown buses. However, with a mass of Gemini 2s arriving from Brighton, CWL last ran in June, with CWK and CWM following in August. Ironically, these buses have now ended up with Brighton & Hove, where they have replaced a few of the remaining OmniDekkas.
