If you’re familiar with our other stuff, you’ll know we tend to fall into our normal roles for combat: I (Waffles) tend to gravitate toward melee weapons and getting all up in the enemy's faces. Shenanigans will make a bow and lust for the dual axes as soon as he possibly can, Veklim makes and perfects his bowmanship and overall zoomies, and Briala falls into and exemplifies the squishy support/DPS mage role. Well THIS series will be different! It’s time for a ROLE SWAP! Here are our rules! They are, of course, subject to change as we play the game, but here’s where we’re starting: Waffles: The NEW mage of the party! All staves are game and for armor: a heavy focus on robes. I am only allowed ONE melee weapon as a backup and it can only be one-handed. Bows are also encouraged, but no crossbows. Shenanigans: The new TANK! He MUST choose the heavy armor option at every tier and must focus on melee weapons of any type, except NO atgeirs and NO dual axes. He’s NOT allowed to use any regular bows, but he’s fully allowed to use crossbows. Veklim: Sneaky Rogue meets Stamina Mage! Knives and stamina mage staves using Valheim Armory’s staff options. He is NOT allowed to use ANY bow at all. He can use any armor he wants except Fenris/Fenrir. Briala: Bows & melee. No magic staves allowed! She’s the ONLY one who can use the Fenris/Fenrir sets.
