Happiness can be found on the darkest of days. Its about coming out of the mind, getting outside, and focusing on what nature provides! On this episode, I go on a colourful autumn cruise along the canal, and I take a stormy woodland walk, where I lay down and bathe between the oak trees, and absorb natures vitalising energy. The local barn owl makes an appearance each day, but its habitat and hunting grounds are under threat from an invasion of new homes, built for humans! The autumnal leaves look great on my narrowboat home, but they need to go! You don't always need the sun to shine. Even on grey, windy and rainy days, or in the shade, you can feel good. Connect with nature and allow your inner light to shine! Synopsis: Ten years ago, I suddenly lost my wife to cancer. I experienced great loss and went into depression. One morning, I woke up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life. From that moment, I decided on change, and I took the plunge and bought a narrowboat. As a liveaboard continuous cruiser, I instantly I found solace. Living on my boat, I've managed to get back on my feet. In all the peace and stillness that I experience now, happiness, self confidence and richness has returned within.
