The Foreknowledge of God

Scripture states that the elect are chosen 'according to the foreknowledge of God' (1 Peter 1:1-2). But what is meant by foreknowledge? It is only about God knowing the future, or about knowing those who love Him personally, even before we were created? Some teach that God predetermines people to heaven or hell without any regard to love, purpose or foreknowledge. This turns salvation into a kind of divine lottery, and if you won the lottery, you are one of the chosen few, the elect. I call this 'sola lucktora: by luck alone', and reject it as it defames God’s character in the extreme. In this 14 minute video, I explore the biblical evidence that God, who dwells outside of time, has known personally those who love Him even before the creation of the world.
