How to connect RF elements antennas with MikroTik radios? In this video you will learn everything! MikroTik offers radios that come in a PCB form, known as RouterBoards, and they also offer radios with a dual coax output like the Netmetal. So the question then is: how do you connect these radios from MikroTik with any of these antennas?? The simple answer is: you have to use a specific TwistPort adaptor. TwistPort is RF elements proprietary waveguide connector with practically zero signal loss. It has superior mechanics for extremely easy and quick radio installation. TwistPort Adaptor - or simply TPA - converts the radio interface into a TwistPort male connector. If you are interested to know more about the TwistPort ecosystem, check out the TwistPort Ecosystem Intro video here: • Product Introduction: TwistPort Ecosystem Let's have a closer look on options we offer for connecting MikroTik radios: -TPA-RBC is made of cast aluminum and provides premium protection for MikroTik™ RouterBoard. This TPA is compatible with the RouterBoard series RB91x, RB92x, RB71x, RB411L and RBM11G. For the RB411L, you must ensure the radio module size fits. -TPA-RBP allows the same compatibility of routerboards as the RBC. The only difference is the materials from which it is built. While the TPA-RBC, as we said, is entirely made of aluminum, the TPA-RBP is made of plastic. Nevertheless, the RF performance is equally excellent. You must also ensure the radio mobile size fits. For the radios BaseBox 5, BaseBox 6, NetBox 5, NetMetal 5, NetMetal 5SHP, NetMetal 5 triple, NetMetal 5SHP triple, NetMetal AC2* Disabling 2.4GHz Interface) we recommend using the TPA-SMA, which provides a connectorized interface to be used with pigtails. This is a kind of universal interface, so you have to mount the radio separately from the antenna structure. 0:00 Intro 0:17 What is TwistPort 0:36 Current lineup of antennas 1:20 TPA 1:35 TPA-RBC 1:55 TPA-RBP 2:15 TPA-SMA 2:30 Installation of radios 2:48 Compatibility Matrix Compatibility Sheet: https://rfelements.com/assets/Uploads...
