I saw that it's already been 9 months at the time of this video since I did Sonic 2 so I was like it's finally time to do the first one! Sonic is probably alongside his then rival Mario one of the most iconic/recognizable Video Game Characters in the world. His design, his attitude and gameplay took the world by storm and he became a very beloved figure. Going from having his own merchandise, action figures, commercials on TV warning kids about dangers in the world, having his own TV shows and even a Movie. I think it's safe to say that the music from these games are always the best part. The original trilogy has some of my favorite video game music of all time! Songs like 'Spring Yard Zone' or Star Light Zone' or 'Scrap Brain Zone' are just amazing pieces of music and really sets the mood for a just overall fun game to play. I gotta say that even though Sonic is known for being the fastest thing alive and is supposed to be all about speed, I think this game however is not that. If you run ahead without looking you'll pretty much run into every hazard the stage offers. Good luck getting all the Chaos Emeralds if you do that haha. I think this game is more about fun platforming and learning to be patient rather than going fast all the time. Later games in the franchise definitely changed some of that.
