Volvo PU500 Power Unit - a mobile charger with an integrated battery

Volvo offers a mobile power unit, the PU500 which brings power to sites with no or limited access to the grid. With a total battery capacity of 396kWh, the PU500 allows you to charge the electric machines and trucks you have on site. It also offers the benefit of “power peak shaving”, meaning the possibility to continuously charge the batteries in the container with low power, and fast charge the machines from the container when needed. The Power Unit (PU500) can be configured with new or second life battery packs depending on your needs.
