This fan offers a powerful 288 CFM independently tested HVI/Energy Star rated airflow with minimum sound output. The remarkable noise reduction results from using a 2" thick acoustic insulation inside the fan's walls with four heavy-duty springs dampening all of the vibration created by the motor assembly. This fan features a fully speed controllable EC Motor, supporting PWM, 0-10V, and Potentiometer Speed Controller types. An 8-speed digital speed controller with a numeric screen displays the currently selected speed level. We include this speed controller with each TerraBloom EC fan. We also have a second speed controller with a continuous variable dial for more granular speed selection included with each fan free of charge. TerraBloom EC fans are compatible with optional wireless and programmable thermostat speed controllers. The distance between the dB meter and the fan is 2ft; the sound was recorded using a boom mic installed 6ft away.
