Filmed 6/8,29/13 and 7/6/13 Turn annotations ON if you have them off. You'll need them on for the bloopers. These HO scale operations videos seem to be getting longer and longer. If they are too long to hold your attention, please let me know. It's actually harder to do these than one might think. Trying to find a balance from filming every single movement or just enough for you to get the idea of whats going on is a bit tedious at times. It's almost like turning a book into a movie, you can't film everything or you'll end up with a movie that's a week long. For example... when the two Rio Grande units are pulling the train, there is no caboose. But when the KCE power takes over, there is. So basically, while we're watching the motive power swap out, elsewhere off camera, a switcher is hooking on the KCE caboose. Yes, the KCE still runs them on locals and transfer runs, which is what this train was, a transfer (which I neglected to say in the intro).
