The allotment is winding down for the winter, with the last of the harvests coming in and beds ready to be cleared. This past week, there have been a few nasty surprises at the allotment garden. Some of these have left me a bit confused as well... The weather has turned wet, windy, and quite cool in the UK lately. In complete contrast to the warm dry summer we've just had.
