India Clears Landmark Rafale Deal | 114 Jets, 60% Made in India | News9

In a historic move, the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the acquisition of 114 Rafale multirole fighter jets from France in a deal valued at approximately Rs 3.25 lakh crore. This landmark purchase, potentially the largest military acquisition in India’s history, will see 18 aircraft delivered in fly-away condition, while the remainder will be manufactured in India with up to 60% indigenous content.
