UHOH! FOUND A WEAKNESS - First Aston Martin DBS Nurburgring Laps

I couldn't be in Germany with my Aston Martin DBS and not take it for a first lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife! After a blast up the derestricted Autobahn to let the V12 purr, let's see how it handles the famous Green Hell as it follows the rite of passage for all Shmeemobiles. Having made a spontaneous trip to the continent and a long journey out, it's almost immediately time to turn back around for the return journey, this time taking in some stretches of the famously open speed-limited German motorways. With busy roads all over due to the holiday season, there are only a few moments to let the V12 come to life until arrival in the Eifel Mountains. Nearly all members of my garage have at some point been for a lap at the Nürburgring, and of course the Aston Martin DBS has to be no exception. While it is very much a grand touring in character, and perhaps rather soft for the bumpy undulations of this particular loop, it's still very much a fun time putting down the power and enjoying a Touristenfahrten session. Afterwards it's straight back on the road for the onward journey back to London; a total day drive of over 1,000km (600+ miles) and about 15 hours on the road.
