The Last Road of India ("Dhanushkodi" to "Arichal Munai")-🚘 🌊!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The "Last Road" or "Last Point" of India is located in Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu, specifically the Arichal Munai. This area is the southernmost tip of the Pamban Island, where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean, marking the end of India's territory. It's about 18 kilometers from Rameswaram and 15 kilometers from Sri Lanka. The area is also considered a place of divine connection with Lord Ram, as it's believed to be where Lord Ram's bridge (Ram Setu) to Lanka began. The tragedy many people do not know is, it happened back on the night of 22-23rd December 1964, officially “1964 Dhanushkodi cyclone” according to Wikipedia, an estimated 1,800 people died in the cyclonic storm on 22 December including 115 passengers on board the Pamban-Dhanushkodi passenger train.
