Along with being a visual storyteller, I am also a healer and I tap into this gift by holding space for Black, Indigenous and Women of colour to slow down, heal and bloom through Brown Girl Bloom. I held my annual wellness retreat last month in the most beautiful and serene bush block. We were surrounded by trees and the beautiful sounds of nature, as we collectively leaned in and nurtured our souls.
