ONE YEAR ALONE | Off Grid in the Carpathian Mountains

I’ve been living completely off grid in the Carpathian Mountains since 2020 — and this video captures my isolated life throughout 2025, alone in a remote mountain cabin far from modern civilization. The cabin I live in is over 80 years old and was fully renovated by me after I moved here. Most days are spent in total solitude, surrounded by forest, wildlife, and mountain silence — with only the occasional visit from friends who manage to reach this place. At 1200 meters above sea level, access to my off grid cabin is possible for most of the year only by dedicated off-road vehicles, making every journey in or out an adventure on its own.
